Just got this book from amazon. It's funny how the ecommerce lag of a few days that elapse between placing and receiving an order can generate that strange schizo time travel whammy you encountered in movies like Memento. Basically, i have no recollection of having ordered this book, and it's utterly perfect for me to read right now. It just showed up today, and not remembering having ordered it, i am a little awed at how perfect it is for me. Like i have some benefactor who knows me so well as to get me a book that's this well suited for me? As if! But if you can surprise yourself... Then you yourself can play God for your future self. Weird theory, eh? I wish i could flesh this theory out further because i intuit that i'm onto something!
